My name is Charis and I am a 23 year old disciple from NY.
The most basic things to know about me are that I'm a lover of God, coffee, and psychology *in that order*
I started this blog as a way to share about the lessons I've learned as a follower of Christ through a variety of things, from coffee to conversations, to nature. I wanted to share stories and life lessons that I felt would be helpful to others in their own journey.
I'm in no way perfect and I have a lot of lessons to learn, but I hope that I can help out at least one person and that you'll take this journey with me :)

Why coffee?
At some point, I'll make a lengthy post about it, but in short, coffee is what draws me closest to God. I feel a unique connection to God over a cup of coffee and I wish to share the intimacy I experience over coffee with God with others.
Why a Jesus/God focus?
My life has been dramatically changed for the better once I made the decision to make Jesus Lord. It's the best decision I ever made. I've learned so much over these years and have often looked to see how faith is reflected online. It's not always the greatest, either fully biased or full of judgement from many sides. I hope that sharing the deeper things can help others in their curiosities about God or their overall walk. When we take extra care of our spiritual well-being/relationship with God, immense change and freedom occurs.
